| The Matriarch |
Capturing the nature of this model " lines and all" as Lois, the model advised, was not so much about achieving the accuracy of her image, but her outlook on life. An artist herself, Lois offered valuable critiques and suggestions. She was pleased with the result, so I am also. We had a lot of fun creating this piece together. This sculpture won First Place at the 2008 Quincy ArtsFest Members Show. |
